Terms and Conditions

  1. Tentative Reservation
    On receipt of the reservation inquiry form, we will contact you and provide you with a confirmation of availability, villa rate (including any applicable tax), and the amount of deposit required (usually 50% of total rental). If your first option is not available, we may suggest other suitable villas.

  3. Tentative Confirmation
    At your request we will put the villa on hold for a period of 5 days.

  5. Reservation Confirmation
    Due to high demand, many villas are usually booked in advance. Reservations are handled on “first come, first served” basis. Therefore, if you wish to confirm and secure your booking, it is important that you mention this as soon as possible in order not to lose your booking. To confirm your reservation you will need to forward a Bank Transfer for the deposit amount requested to our US$ bank account within two (2) working days. The balance of the total amount needs to be paid 2 months (60 work days) prior to your arrival.

  7. Rates
    • All rates for accommodation are quoted in US Dollars and subject to change without prior notice.
    • All taxes are in accordance with government regulations and service charge is applied at the industry standard.

  9. Payments
    • A deposit of 50% of the rental including any applicable tax amount must be received by Uma di Bali within two (2) working days after confirmation of reservation has been given to guarantee your reservation.
    • Final payment is required at least 60 days prior to arrival. (unless if the bookings less than 60 days in advance of arrival)
    • US dollar notes with serial number beginning with CB, BB, CF, DB and CA and notes that are 1999 and under will not be accepted.
    • Payments by Traveller’s Cheques or personal cheques, will not be accepted.
    • Payment by Cash, Uma di Bali requires minimum 2007 edition and from H series onward for payment by US Dollar Bank Note.
    • The payment should be received in a full amount including the bank charges plus fees of the Corresponding Bank.
    • Please note that Uma di Bali does Wire Transfer.  International telegraphic transfer to our corporate bank account normally takes about three days. If you choose to settle your payment by bank transfer, make sure that you allocate sufficient time before the due date.

  11. Bank Account and Credit Card Transfers Details
    Bank Account details, or details for making credit card payments for transfer of rental funds, will be sent at the same time as the tentative booking confirmation.

  13. Number of Guests
    The number of guests staying in a property cannot exceed the maximum number of guests published and or agreed in the bookings confirmation. If you require extra beds or baby cots, please indicate this during the time of booking. We can however, provide upon request and at an extra charge.

  15. Changes to Bookings
    All requests for changes to bookings must be made in writing (Fax or E-mail is acceptable).
    An administration fee depending on  each villa will be charged for all changes to bookings once they have been confirmed. While Uma di Bali endeavour to accommodate booking changes this will only occur subject to availability.

  17. Check-in, Check-out and Late Check-out policies
    • Check-in – Guests are welcome to check-in from 2 pm.
      Check-out – Normal check-out time is around 11 am – 12 pm.
    • Late check-out
      •  If there are no other bookings for the same day, we may extent check-out time until 1 pm complimentary.
      •  A late check-out charge equivalent to 50% of the published rate will be charged for check-out up to 6 pm.
      •  If  any check- out after  6 pm, will incur a full nights rate.

  19. Cancellation Policy
    All deposits are non refundable, unless agreed upon by the villa owner on special case by case basis. The balance of rental payment is due before your scheduled arrivals date which once received is also non refundable unless agreed by the owner.

  21. Damage and Loses
    Clients are responsible for leaving the property and its contents in good order and in a clean condition. The client is to pay for any damages or losses incurred during occupation. The owner reserves the right to repossess the property if clients or any member of the client’s party causes excessive damage or nuisance or engages in any unlawful activity.

  23. Security Deposits
    Be aware that security deposits are required for some villas. If required, a deposit will requested by the villa Manager upon arrival and will be refunded in full on day of departure, unless damages/repairs need to be performed, in which case refunds will be made by Cash or transfer, less cost of damages.

    During your stay, if you find any matters, first should be taken up to Uma di Bali.
